Expedition Medics
Dedicated medical support scoped around your expedition, location and practical evacuation options.
Discuss Your PlansThe Experience
Medical support on a remote journey needs to fit the whole programme. We discuss the itinerary, team, environment and available care before agreeing the clinical cover and equipment appropriate to the work.
Who It’s For
Expedition organisers, private groups and production teams considering an embedded medic for a remote or mountain programme.
What Could Be Arranged
- An embedded medic for an agreed trip or production.
- Pre-departure medical planning linked to the itinerary.
- A defined equipment and communications plan.
- Coordination with the expedition team and available local services.
How We Plan It
We establish the setting, activities, participants and likely access to care. The agreed scope identifies the practitioner, clinical responsibilities, working arrangements and escalation or evacuation planning for that project.
Practical Arrangements
Clinical staffing, equipment, medicines, insurance and permissions depend on the destination and engagement. The written proposal confirms the scope; it does not replace participants’ own travel or evacuation insurance. Training photographs illustrate relevant skills rather than a record of SOOM deployments.
