UK Mountain Days
Private walking and scrambling days in Eryri, the Lake District and Scotland, with the route built around your group.
Discuss Your PlansThe Experience
A private mountain day can be a familiar classic, a quieter ridge or the first time your group has stepped away from the main paths. We choose the terrain and pace around the people coming, rather than fitting everyone into the same walk.
Who It’s For
Individuals, couples, families and friends wanting a guided UK mountain experience. Some objectives suit newer walkers; longer ridges and rougher ground need more experience and preparation.
What Could Be Arranged
- Hillwalking and summit days in Eryri/Snowdonia, the Lake District or Scotland.
- Scrambling journeys matched to your confidence and movement skills.
- Linked mountain days with time to explore a region more fully.
- A day with a navigation focus or preparation for an overseas trip.
How We Plan It
We discuss the group’s experience, the region you would like to visit and the kind of day that appeals. Your leader then selects an appropriate route and options for changing it if the weather or the group’s needs call for that.
Practical Arrangements
Locations, meeting points, travel, equipment and the expected effort are agreed beforehand. Snow and ice change the nature of a route; winter objectives need a separately agreed programme and suitable equipment.
What To Tell Us
Preferred region and dates; group size and ages where relevant; recent walks; comfort on rocky or exposed ground; and whether you want a particular summit or a more relaxed journey.
Dates, availability, staffing and the final price are confirmed on enquiry. Your written quote sets out the agreed programme, inclusions and exclusions; access, routes and associated costs can change after publication.
